Meals for the Clinic
The doctors and staff that donate their time to the free medical and dental clinics do so after business hours and often work right through dinner. We will be providing the clinics with meals every Thursday in October. The meals should be for 8-10 people.
Greater Greenwood United Ministry accepts no State or Federal funding as it is a faith-based 501c3 non-profit organization. they rely heavily on the generosity of the sponsor churches, as well as businesses and civic organizations.
We will be committing a specific amount to give to GGUM each month, which will come directly out of the #forgreenwood account. If you are interested in giving to the fun, you can do so HERE.
GGUM is doing more preventative work than ever and could use our help! They would like to give people that come through the clinic a personal hygiene kit to help them stay healthy and clean. The kits can be made from simple zip lock bags with travel size items and you can bring them to church any Sunday or drop them by the GGUM offices.
The kits would need to contain:
· Bar of soap
